The brown paper and its texture are part of the presentation. Make the most of them with kraft business cards, from 500 units.
Kraft business cards have a visible brown base and a natural, unlaminated paper feel. They suit earth-toned branding, handmade product shops or brands looking for a simple presentation. The stock colour is part of the result: it is not a white background.
The 300 gsm paper can be printed on one or both sides. The trimmed card measures 8.1 × 5 cm. Photographs show material examples; your cards are printed using the files you submit.
Create clear contrast between the lettering and brown paper. Dark text, open space and a readable logo help details stand out. Colours may look different from a screen or white paper; review your stock choice before approval.
If your artwork depends on a specific white or very precise colour reproduction, contact DTS before ordering. The digital proof checks the layout; it does not physically reproduce the texture or certify printed colour.
Order from 500 cards in increments of 500. Each different design requires at least 500 cards. For an order of 1,000, print one design or split it into two designs of 500; for double-sided printing, upload A and B for each design.
Printing 500 cards costs €35 excluding VAT or €42.35 with reference VAT at 21%. Check the quantity tiers in the table: intermediate quantities use the price per card from the highest tier reached. Printing, design services and VAT are shown separately; delivery and final tax are calculated at checkout.
A kraft card can introduce a brand, accompany a product or carry a short thank-you note. Use one side for your business identity and the other for useful details: a phone number, website or brief instructions, so the recipient knows how to find you again.
Give QR codes enough space and test them at the actual printed size before submitting artwork. More information does not always make a card more useful: decide what you want the recipient to do next.
Make your name or brand prominent, briefly describe your business and provide contact details that are easy to read at a glance. Use a comfortable text size and sufficient contrast. Keep important information away from the edge, even if it appears to fit on screen.
Prioritise the details you want people to use, whether that is WhatsApp, your website or a phone number. Check spelling, numbers, links and QR codes. The automatic check helps identify risks, but cannot judge the intended meaning of your message.
Select the upload artwork button to open the proof window. Add each side separately or choose both files together: the first is A and the second is B. Drag the image to position it; use the external controls or mouse wheel to resize it. The aspect ratio is preserved.
The zoom button lets you inspect the artwork and guides without changing its position. After confirmation, thumbnails appear on the product page and you can reopen the proof. If you add or replace a file, check and confirm it again so your approval applies to the current artwork.
Prepare one page for each side, measuring 8.6 × 5.5 cm landscape. The finished card is 8.1 × 5 cm: we cut 2.5 mm inside the artwork edge. Extend the background to the outer edge and keep text, logos and information inside the 7.6 × 4.5 cm safe area. Swap width and height for portrait artwork.
For JPG or PNG, use at least 1,016 × 650 pixels at that size, aiming for 300 dpi. Enlarging a small image may make it blurry or pixelated. Changing its resolution label alone does not add detail. Download the PDF template and simple guide from the proof; do not include their guides in the artwork you submit.
If your artwork is not ready, you can order our design service for €20 plus VAT per different design, including sides A and B. For two different designs, the service costs €40 plus VAT. Select it in the configurator and check the itemised price.
Send us your text, logo and presentation brief. You will receive a proof to approve before printing. The printing or delivery schedule starts once the order is confirmed and the artwork is approved.

Yes. Enter a quantity in multiples of 500. Between quantity tiers, the price per card uses the highest tier reached. Check the resulting quotation before ordering.
Yes. A is the front and B is the back. For single-sided printing, you only need A; the back is left blank. For double-sided printing, upload A and B for each design and check that each file is on the correct side.
Each design requires at least 500 cards. Add your designs, allocate their blocks and check that they add up to the total quantity. The Add another design button is available on the product page and in the digital proof.
8.1 × 5 cm landscape, or 5 × 8.1 cm portrait. The complete artwork must measure 8.6 × 5.5 cm, including the background that will be trimmed away. Keep text, logos and important information inside the 7.6 × 4.5 cm safe area.
Bleed is the background extending beyond the finished card edge. This template includes 2.5 mm outside the cut on each edge, plus a further 2.5 mm safety margin inside the cut for important information. Extend the background to the artwork edge and keep text inside the green line.
A single-page PDF for each side, JPG or PNG is the simplest option. WEBP, TIFF, AI, EPS, PSD and ZIP are also accepted for review, although some formats cannot be previewed. The limit is 256 MB per file. Files that cannot be previewed need checking before printing.
You will see a warning: at its printed size, the image may lose sharpness and look pixelated, especially around small text and edges. Replace it with a more detailed file or reduce the enlargement. Changing the dpi setting in a program does not add detail.
No. Inspection zoom only enlarges the on-screen view. To change the printed size or position, use the adjustment controls or drag the artwork within the proof. The interface guides and controls are not printed.
Before confirming the proof, you can correct the file or explicitly accept the risks shown for each side. Your acceptance is saved with the approved design. Always check text and logos: automatic text recognition may miss decorative lettering or text converted to outlines.
Yes. Select Remove beside the thumbnail or inside the proof. The other side and other designs are kept. Upload the correct file, then approve the designs again.
No. The free proof helps you check position, size and margins. Colour also depends on the paper and printing process and may differ from your screen. The proof does not replace checking the fonts and internal elements of a PDF.
